Metrowaste was formed in 1979 by its owner Bruce Dean.  The company has been developed as a family business and has grown to become the largest wholly New Zealand owned waste stream processor in the country.

Bruce’s’ daughter and son are still actively involved in the day to day management and operations of the business and his wife Terrieann guides the strategic development of the company in her role as an Owner / Director
